Operation, Get The Message

is currently being promoted by our Neighbourhood Police Team to combat a significant increase in Theft From Motor Vehicles (TFMV) Sgt Andrew Deane says about TFMV 'If you leave property on show, then expect it to go.' A number of simple ways of protecting your vehicle and property are described

Flackwell Heath Neighbourhood Watch is part of the Wycombe & District Neighbourhood Watch Association.

In Flackwell Heath there are currently 54 schemes with 62 coordinators and deputies / message recipients, present in 40 of the 78 roads in the village. The objectives of Neighbourhood Watch are to encourage individuals and groups to be more security-concious; to increase confidence knowing that your neighbours are concerned about everyone's security; to engender a good community spirit reporting anything that looks suspicious, and to assist the police in their fight against crime and to reduce the fear of crime.

The Thames Valley Police 'Alerts' system was introduced in March 2012. If you live or work in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire or Milton Keynes, you are invited to register to become a recipient of messages of information, crime alerts or witness appeals local to the area in which you live or work in a way that suits your needs and lifestyle by email, text, telephone or the social network 'Twitter'
