PDF Documents (What are they?)

PDF (Portable Document Format) is the open de facto standard for electronic document distribution world-wide.

A PDF file is a universal format that preserves all the fonts, formatting, graphics and colour of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it.

PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated and printed exactly as intended by anyone with free Adobe Acrobat Reader software which you can easily download (see below).

PDF files are created using Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Capture, or similar products.

Once you've downloaded the Reader, it will start automatically whenever you want to look at a PDF file.

Once you have the free Acrobat Reader installed you can click on the PDF link and that document will open for viewing or printing in the PDF reader, alternatively you can Right Click on the PDF link and save that PDF document on to your PC for keeping or viewing off line.

If you do not already have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader then you can click on the Adobe icon below and download a free Acrobat Reader from the Adobe site.
